Why should I register with Art's Foundation?

By registering as a Professional Guardian with Art's Foundation you will be compensated for your service to Wards with no income, assets or other resources.

How much compensation can I receive?

$55.00 per hour, up to 30 hours, in your first year of appointment. $55.00 per hour, up to 12 hours, for each year thereafter. 

 

How do I receive compensation?

Submit a fee petiton that includes language that you are being compensated by Art's Foundation for Seniors, Inc. only. Submit the Order approving your fee petition to us by mail or email.

What cases qualify for compensation?

Any Orange or Osceola County, Florida guardianship case established after January 1, 2023 and the Ward is indigent and has no income, assets or other resources.

Can my attorney receive compensation?

Yes. Your attorney may receive $500.00 for the first year of each new case, and $100.00 for each year thereafter.

Why do you need my social security number?

We will provide you with a 1099 tax document each year. This is required to process payments.
